Unity Through Love
Posted by Administrator on 2008-05-11 at 8:40 am
Webster’s dictionary defines unity as the state or fact of being united or combined into one, as of the parts of a whole; unification. We are all human beings, united by our humanity, ambitions, hopes and dreams; regardless of our race and beliefs. Lack of communication sometimes makes us believe that others are different from us, yet when we think of it we all have our share of daily problems and difficulties in life. Team spirit is the first step towards unifying people. Now, my point is that we need more empathy and understanding, as well as patience to appreciate one another if we are to approach any state of unity which generates positive energy. Remember the old saying "it takes two to tango". I personally began Latin dance and really enjoy it because it brings people together and makes them feel at one with power. By power, I mean the power of love. Love is everything.

Health & Success

Whatever you do, you should try and do it moderately without any anger, based on value and principle. Then you’ll get an understanding of what you’re doing and why. I said once that success is failure turned inside out. Well that’s one way to look at it. We are given the mind to think, heart to love and health to work. Now health. Getting the right amount of sleep, especially before 12, is important because of the law of gravity and natural pattern of sleep that gives relaxation to the body, spirit and soul. Because of the natural bio rhythm of the human body, it is important to sleep between 12 & 6 for the brain cells to recuperate. That’s just how the Cosmos was made. Good quality sleep is probably one of the best ways to avoid impulsiveness and aggression. Two more elements that contribute to good health are a nutritious diet and daily exercise. Of course, prayer, first thing in the morning and last thing before going to sleep, has a positive effect on each day. Doing these things brings peace to my heart…try them. Because of so much aggression in today’s society, focusing too much on small problems might add another dilemma to the problem. Minding your own business becomes a wise policy in life, so if you talk the talk, you should walk the walk.

Leaving and living
Posted by Administrator on 2007-11-06 at 10:14 pm
I compromised with my past, the boy I was, the good and naughty things I did. We all have good and bad days. When doing something, ok fine, do the same routine, but be present in what you're doing and look forward to the things you'll do later. I perform and experience my acts right at the moment they come true. Sometimes I stay silent not because I'm afraid of the criticism or the comments, but because I want to understand what I don't know. Criticism and comments do not create negative energy, but the rebuke and the taunt do. We can leave the past behind and live in the moment by practicing patience. Patience is one of the provisions we were given as gifts in order to live a life of virtue.

Virtual Identity

Ok fine. We all should have identity and know our history, meaning our past/roots, but not think about it too much. Living the now is what's most important. That's my point. Forget the past. We need to stop saying, I or we did and were. Ok, learn from the past, but don't remember it thoroughly and intensely. Live the now. Money is a beautiful tool to give and take. What's evil is the love of money, so trust me and don't let it get to you. You know, it's easier said than done. I'm not saying I'm perfect, but seriously, we are so fortunate. I mean, there are 2.8 billion people dying of famine today. That means we're among the 50% that are able to eat. I've learned that we really need to look at the big picture. We're always complaining about the smallest things. What's interesting, is that, us humans. We keep on making the same mistakes. That's where we need to be wise, cause we're all smart and tend to make mistakes. The wise learn and avoid making the same mistakes. I've come to understand, not to take things from a very personal point of view, meaning don't waste your energy on people who you don't agree with, but at the same time, don't be critical. We all should have empathy towards one another. Be in the world, but not of it. I've concluded so many different things and learned that the Lord doesn't want us to take time from our busy day to spend with him. He wants us to take time from Him to have a busy day. In my past, I only knew about God. Now, after all my experience, I've come to know God.

Back in the light!

From the day I woke up like any other day and saw a bunch of people around me, I thought to myself and said, Wow!! I definitely need to write about this. Thank you for your interest in my story as I re-lived this event. "Victory belongs to the most persevering" Napoleon
